Role Overview:

The Middleware Administrator II - SOA will be part of the Middleware team, responsible for managing ongoing middleware operations and providing 24/7 support for clients’ middleware environments. The role involves monitoring middleware application performance, managing incidents, and ensuring middleware systems operate in accordance with established procedures and service standards.

Overview of Team Function:

The Middleware team oversees operations of middleware infrastructure environments, coordinating technology deployments, delivery schedules, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of middleware systems.

Role Specific Responsibilities:

  • Manage middleware infrastructure operations and handle incidents and tasks assigned to the Middleware team.
  • Monitor the performance of middleware applications and ensure proactive issue resolution.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to communicate technology capacity and align middleware services with business priorities.
  • Collaborate with technology teams, business partners, and vendors to develop and execute technology and product strategies.
  • Participate in cross-technology process improvement initiatives.
  • Support technology deployment and delivery schedules.

Oracle Fusion Middleware, SOA Suite, Oracle Service Bus, WebLogic, Middleware Operations, Incident Management, Infrastructure Monitoring, Performance Tuning, Technical Troubleshooting, Analytical Tools, ITIL Processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical or business field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience working with Oracle Fusion Middleware, including SOA Suite, OSB, and WebLogic.
  • Solid understanding of middleware infrastructure and operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with familiarity using analytical tools.
  • High focus on quality, customer service, and operational excellence.
